I first saw Glasvegas 2007 around the time that their single Daddy’s Gone came out. The recollection of where the show was at is long lost in a fog of rollie smoke and Strongbow hangovers, but I do remember it being absolutely tremendous.

Anyway, a decade and a bit later on I was delighted when the band invited Darren Lawson to mix some songs on their new record. Daz mixed five tracks on the self-produced, self-released record - Cupid’s Dark Disco, Dive, Stay Lit, In My Mirror, and the blistering record-closer and title track, Godspeed.
