Power To Play is McFly’s 7th studio album. Can you believe that? I was 16 when the first one came out, so the fact they’ve released two a year since then blows my tiny mind.
Anyway, we’re delighted that the band chose Jason to co-produce this record with them, as well as having along to co-write seven of the songs (including launch single ‘Where Did All The Guitars Go?’. We’re even more delighted that this powerhouse of an album has gone it at number two in the UK album charts today. It’s a soaring piece of pop rock that mimics Rush and Queen in equal measures while still staying true to the heart of what makes McFly great. Congratulations McFly and congratulations Jason!
