I’m beyond stoked to be welcoming a new member to our gang, in the form of Orsmkirk born, Los Angeles based (look at that for a transition) producer, mixer, songwriter extraordinaire, Phil Gornell.
Phil cut his teeth touring with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, New Found Glory, Every Time I Die, Of Mice & Men and a ton of other huge names in the world of contemporary rock, taking on live mixing, front of house, monitor engineer and tour management roles. In March 2012 he set up his own studio, the incredible Steel City, where he’s been making records ever since. Recently relocating to LA, he’s set up a new studio and writing space and continues to make records in the face of pandemic led adversity.
Credits under his belt include engineering Bring Me The Horizon’s Sempiternal record, producing and mixing tracks for 5 Seconds of Summer’s deluxe version of their new record CALM, producing and co-writing Deaf Havana’s most recent album Rituals (UK No8), and co-producing and co-writing tracks on All Time Low’s latest album, Wake Up Sunshine (UK No3, Billboard Rock No1), where he shares credits with the likes of Max Martin, Bonnie McKee and the Band CAMINO.
Phil’s an enormous talent looking for amazing new projects to get involved with, across pop, alternative and rock. I’m very, very excited to be representing him worldwide.
