Rocky O'ReILLY
If you know anything about Northern Irish music, you're already aware of Rocky O'Reilly. Rocky runs the fantastic Start Together Studio in Belfast and is an enormously talented and experienced producer, mixer and songwriter.
Rocky began his musical career as a musician playing in several well respected Northern Irish bands. He's now fully focussed on production making great records and enormous amounts of beautiful noise with artists such as TOUTS (Hometown)), Radio 1 favourites Queen Zee and seminal Irish post-rock band, And So I Watch You From Afar (Sargent House). Rocky also has a killer mix room based within Start Together and has composed music that has featured in shows such as How I Met Your Mother, New Girl & Ugly Betty, as well as commercial campaigns for Nike, Fujifilm and Jameson. His recent work with The Wood Burning Savages won the Northern Irish Music Prize in 2018, and he’s recently branched out into writing with others across genres.
Rocky can make records either from his studio in Belfast or elsewhere. Although a rock kid at heart, his musical tastes are eclectic to say the least and he knows his way around a pop tune as much as he does a killer riff.
