Newcomer to the Friends Vs Music stable Phil Gornell has co-written, produced and mixed the track Left Town from the brand new EP, Gold by 80s flecked pop outfit Heart of Gold.

Heart of Gold is the solo project of Michael McGough, vocalist and guitarist for contemporary rock stalwarts Being As An Ocean and shows a more melodic, synth led side to his artistry. The EP’s already been picked up by several curated playlists, with Left Town being featured on Spotify’s influential All New Rock selection. It’s out right now on Sharptone Records.
